The benefits of dentures
We not only restore our patients’ oral health, but in the process, we help them feel more confident, improve their speech, and eliminate prior eating restrictions.
- Smile with confidence.
- Eat well.
- Speak clearly.
- Laugh often.
- Enjoy life.
Today’s prosthetic dentistry provides various treatment options to replace missing teeth. Our prosthodontists are renowned for providing quality, affordable denture services, including denture repairs and denture relines.
Repairs and relining are common and important for the alignment of the jaw. Alignment slowly changes as bone and gum ridges recede. Our experts at Prosthodontics of Texas are prepared to present you with options and help you choose what would be best suited for your needs and lifestyle.
Full or complete dentures
A complete denture, also known as a full denture, is a replacement or prosthetic device for patients missing an entire set of upper or lower teeth. This appliance replaces natural teeth and offers support for the cheeks and lips. Our denture teeth are made of porcelain or acrylic and held together by an acrylic base, usually flesh colored, that either covers the roof of the mouth or is shaped like a horseshoe, leaving room for the tongue.
Immediate dentures
Our immediate dentures are fabricated and inserted after the teeth have been extracted and before the tissues have healed. We are also able to attach complete dentures to dental implants for a more secure fit of the device.
Partial dentures
Partial Dentures are customized to replace one or more missing teeth as opposed to replacing an entire upper or lower set of teeth. We design your partial denture according to your unique needs, so no partial is the same.
We use comfortable, natural-looking, metal free partial dentures. A person’s specific dental needs and anatomy dictate the design of the partial denture we recommended to each patient.
We use metal and acrylic composition in some of our partial dentures. As previously stated, sometimes partial dentures with metal framework or partial dentures with both metal and flexible material are preferred for specific anatomical needs based on existing dentition. Our doctors will consult with you to determine the appropriate solution for you. We will work closely with you to make sure your new dentures fit well and allow you to eat what you want and get back to your normal life.
Cost of dentures
Since dentures allow you to eat the foods you love and to smile with confidence, the cost of not being able to speak and laugh is colossal. For years, we at Prosthodontics of Texas have put a high value on caring for patients and restoring their smiles with only the best dentures.
Every patient’s situation is one-of-a-kind which is why we begin with a consultation where we present all possible costs upfront and help you understand your insurance benefits. We are proud to offer quality dentures at an affordable cost with pricing options to fit every budget. If you know the specifics of the dentures you need, we would be happy to provide a quote over the phone.
